1. Set an example for all students attending El Segundo High School (lead by example)
2. Take roll at every Student Government meeting
3. Preside over Student Government meetings during the absence of the President
4. Responsible to see that all provisions of the school Constitution are properly executed
5. Act as a designate of the President at functions where the President is unable to attend or so request
6. Act on behalf of Student Government and/or the entire student body when the president cannot be reached
7. Responsible to be aware of the inappropriate or outdated sections of the school's constitution; purpose and accept amendments when necessary
8. Plan, organize, and execute all Homecoming Activities
9. Serve as President of the Student Senate
10. Act as an example to the rest of Student Government class and entire student body
11. Assist the President in planning and conducting Student Government business
12. Sign ASB checks in absence of the ASB President
13. Organize and keep the ASB storage room tidy
14. Plan, organize, and oversee Elections Week
15. Welcome new staff members
16. Attend class daily
17. Attend all class meetings
18. Attend all ASB activities, acting as a principal participant
19. Devote personal time outside of class as needed in addition to Student Government class time
